MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Thursday May 6th. Please come and participate in the operations and decisions of this club. We need all the support we can get in order to keep things going for us all. LOOKING FORWARD: June 26th The Fourth Saturday Dance will feature Denny Lantz calling. More information will follow. MINI FESTIVAL JULY 10th, 2010: The Dudes & Daisies will host a full day of fun with Mike Sikorsky. Advanced workshop in the morning, POT LUCK lunch, Plus Workshop in the afternoon and the evening to include Advanced, Plus and Rounds. Please put it on your calendar and come to make this a great day in the Mt. Shasta Park. We all ready have reservations! THANKS TO ALL: The “Ice Cream Social” was a huge success and a huge thanks to all that pitched in to make it so much fun. Ruth and Dietrich, thanks for coming early and taking care of the door, hosting the party and joining Judy, Mark, Ursula, Bruce, Lynne, Sharon and Martin for the spring cleaning. WORKSHOP SCHEDULE for Square Dancing Dancing: May 6th, 13th. 20th and 27th ROUND DANCING WORKSHOPS Les & Mary Farley provide round dance instruction on Tuesday evenings at the Dudes and Daisies hall. Please call Les & Mary at 530 222-0160 with any questions. NO FOURTH SATURDAY DANCE IN MAY: The dance night is DARK because of the Memorial Day Weekend. CIRCLE & SQUARES: May 15th dance with Dean calling and Les & Mary? Calling. Sunshine A “Sympathy Card” was sent to Vic Prida, his wife Jeannie passed away from chemo complications. Mary Farley had a fall and was hospitalized; we sure wish you a speedy recovery. Nelda Cheney was sent a “Get Well” card after a fall while traveling to the coast with a senior tour. Pat Neil was sent a “Glad you are OK” card after a short procedure in Medford. |
